New programming language

I haven't posted on here for a while, not really had anything to talk about.
I have now decided to learn php
So far I have downloaded WAMP and have tried the usual "Hello World" trial programming.
I have read quite a lot as well, just need to get a bit further and I might be able to have a go at somethings.
Just need to learn enough the be able to make something.
Think I need to learn a bit more html as well.

New Puppy

So we got a puppy at the weekend and it is stressful so far.
She is adorable and good company when she is not chewing on my fingers.

Charity event

So I went to a charity event to raise money for Bolton lads and girls club was a really nice time. While we were there we decided to enter the raffle for all sorts of prizes and I won a Netbook. Think my luck has finally come in, they raised a lot of money for a good cause and I think everyone had a good time doing it.

I wonder what this year will bring.
I need to find a hobby or something to do in the evenings.

Masquerade Mask Part 2

I am loving decorating my Masqurade Mask.
I have decided on a blue theme with a dragon fly down the nose and the classic frills at the eyes. I still need to do something with the crown that is on top of the mask

Masquerade Mask

I am in the process of designing a Masquerade Mask for my friends New Years Eve party. Very excited.

My partner and I decided to go to hobbycraft to buy a blank mask, rather than buying ones already made. I also got paint and glitter glue, he got a wreath in the christmas sales which he is going to cut up.

I do enjoy making things but I think it is more the designing I enjoy.

I have now decided on a design after 2 hours of drawing different patterns on paper and I have decided on a dragonfly down the centre with frills coming from the side of the eyes.

Christmas Decorations

We got some decorations from my Boyfriend's Grandma the other day.
Nice little angels, snowmen and skiers etc. given to her from my Boyfriend's Mum bought in Germany in the 80s. Some are a little battered and bruised but still lovely.

While shopping in Tesco today, we were looking at the Christmas decorations and noticed some little ornaments, that look EXACTLY THE SAME. Only ours are white and the ones in Tesco are in colour.

How Strange is that, not similar, they are identical.
