So I trained to be a teacher and really did not enjoy it, made my life miserable, so I decided to change my job, now I am working as documentation developer and learning to program on D3

Bread Maker

I am loving my Kenwood bread maker, saw some bad reviews of it before I bought it but it is doing me really well.

Not great on the small loaves if you don't check it has mixed in the corners you don't get the best loaf.

This is not a problem a loaf that is classed as small (500g) doesn't last a day in my household so not really worth making.

The best bread I have made so far has to be Chocolate Bread, it has chocolate chunks (70% plain chocolate, yum) and coca powder. Definitely a weekend bread. Nice on its own, with butter or on its own. Very nice toasted with honey. Think I might even use it in a bread and butter pudding if I have any left to use.

If you are thinking of buying the Kenwood bread maker and having doubts about it, just buy it.
It is by far the best looking bread maker around, and if you follow the care instructions works perfectly.

I love my bread maker

  1. Try cheese and onion bread (Hovis bread mix). It's ok with butter, but toast it and slap a load of butter on it and it's amazing.
I'll have to try chocolate bread, I'm intrigued. :)
Also, I've found that the Hovis bread mix makes lovely bread (more so than adding the ingredents separately.
